Awards amounts of $4,00 for four-year college enrollees and $2,000 for two-year college enrollees. You must have a minimum GPA of 2.75 and an ACT of 26 or below.(applicants attending a two-year school will not be required to submit ACT scores)

Smith Foundation Scholarship application is available online at www.smithscholarships.com. Deadline: January 15, 2013. Seniors must have a minimum C+ GPA, plan to attend an approved 4-year public college in the state of Alabama, nursing majors may attend an accredited two year institution and significant contribuition to family or community. There is no ACT minimum, however, the applicant must have taken the ACT or do so before an award can be made. This scholarship provides up to $15,000 per year, renewable for 4 years.
